Al Tayer Group LLC is the data controller of the personal information it processes, unless otherwise stated and is a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with commercial license number 520130 and its registered office at PO Box 2623, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This Privacy and Cookie Policy applies if you use our services, or if you contact us or we contact you about them, which may include, but is not limited to:

  • using any of our platforms including, but not limited to, www.altayer.com website
  • general enquiries
  • involvement in any recruitment processes
  • customer service channels associated with our services, products and/or the Amber program

The Website is owned and operated by Al Tayer Group LLC and/or its affiliates and subsidiaries (together "we" or "us").

We take your privacy very seriously and therefore want you to know how your data is collected, used, shared and stored, which is described in this Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Please note that our Privacy and Cookie Policy is updated from time to time and that you will be bound by the most recent update of the policy appearing on our Website. Where it is practicable, we may notify you by email of any significant changes. However, it is, therefore, your responsibility to continue to check our Privacy and Cookie Policy for updates.
 

Information we may collect

We (and our authorized service providers) collect information supplied by you via the Website, other websites operated by us or any of our Website customer service channels including without limitation on the phone, via email, via WhatsApp or our Live Chat feature (where available). We and such service providers also collect information when you visit our Website, other websites operated by us or from third parties authorized to share your information with us. We and our authorized service providers may collect some of this information even if you are not a registered user or do not place an Order. This information may include:

We may offer a Live Chat feature and/or the ability to communicate with us via WhatsApp to assist you with queries you may have. Where available we may record and store all chat conversations. These transcripts are only accessed for customer service purposes.

We have to have a valid reason to use your personal information ("lawful basis for processing") or have your permission. Our purpose for collecting the information is as set out above in the "How we use information" section.

The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, if applicable.

When you give us your information it could be transferred, stored or processed in a location outside the United Arab Emirates, as further described in the section "Who may we share information with".


Who may we share information with

  • carefully selected third parties with whom we have a relationship and who may contact you or utilize your data only for reasons pre-agreed with us, including marketing and re-marketing
  • service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as: information technology, website maintenance, surveys and market research or advertising and marketing
  • our professional services providers such as: legal, audit, financial and insurance advisers
  • any assignee, successor operator or prospective purchaser of the Website or us
  • any legal, regulatory, law enforcement, government or municipal bodies

We use data processors who are third parties who provide elements of services for us. Our internal policy is to use reasonable endeavours to seek to have arrangements in place with our data processors to protect your data.

In some circumstances, we are legally obliged to share information. For example under a court order or where we cooperate with other supervisory authorities in handling complaints or investigations. We might also share information with other regulatory bodies in order to further their, or our, objectives.

Even if you unsubscribe, we will still contact you to deliver transactional and administrative information related to you.

If you unsubscribe, we will change the way we use your data but any accounts you have with us, any of our affiliates and/or group companies or our (and/or our affiliates' and/or group companies') third party providers will remain active.

If you choose to opt back in at any time, your most recent action will prevail.
 

Your rights in relation to your data

The following rights are available to you:

  • your right of access and to ask us for copies of your personal information
  • your right to request rectification of information you think is inaccurate or incomplete
  • your right to erasure, in certain circumstances
  • your right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances
  • your right to object to processing, if we are able to process your information because the process forms part of our public tasks, or is in our legitimate interests
  • your right to ask that we transfer the information you have given us from one organisation to another, or give it to you (applicable only if we are processing information based on your consent or under, or in talks about entering into a contract and the processing is automated)

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. We have one month to respond to you.

If you request that your data is erased note that we keep a record of how you have used the services, but this information cannot be linked back to you and we retain any information required by law.

Measures we put in place to protect your data
