About Roger Vivier
Since opening his first boutique in Paris in 1937, Roger Vivier - known as the Fabergé of shoes - has created shoes like sculptures, which have become loved by leading ladies and royalty the world over, including Marlène Dietrich, Queen Elizabeth II, and Brigitte Bardot. An extravagant virtuoso, Roger Vivier always stayed ahead of trends, daring to create the platform sole in 1937 and the stiletto heel in 1954.
He made his life’s career the creation of jewels for the feet, using materials normally associated with couturiers. This artistic heritage and exceptional tradition found new life with the renaissance of the brand in 2004 with creative director Bruno Frisoni. Today, timeless icons such as the Belle Vivier Buckle ballerina, Choc heel stilettos and Prismick bags enchant all women in search of exclusive elegance.
